Have you heard of Giving Tuesday? Black Friday and Cyber Monday are great opportunities to find gifts for your family and friends. Giving Tuesday is a global day of giving and a great opportunity to make a difference in the world by donating to international causes you care about like Grace4Kenya. Your support for Grace4Kenya will make it possible for the Kenyans in West Pokot County to get all their health needs (medical, vision, and dental) met in one location at the Bendera Hospital and have it covered by their insurance.
The Gift of Generosity Goes Both Ways
Above you see Rachel (the Director of Nursing for Bible Faith Medical Ministries) and Jill (Cofounder of Grace4Kenya) accepting the gifts of watermelon grown by participants of the Community Health Evangelism program in western Kenya. The villagers are grateful for the ways Grace4Kenya serves them and they take joy in sharing the fruits of their labor.
Help Grace4Kenya raise $18,000 on Giving Tuesday that will go toward equipping a dental clinic similar to the one shown in the photo. Poor oral health is prevalent in the rural area that lacks dentists. It contributes to cavities, pain, impaired chewing, loss of teeth, malnutrition, and communicable diseases. Give a child a lasting smile and one more step towards life-long health and help the elderly keep their teeth so that they can be properly nourished.
